Welcome to The Village Baking Co. We are currently "shaping and proofing" our website, so thank you for stopping by our blog. We are a wholesale Artisan Boulangerie producing the finest quality of all-natural, hand crafted bread for farmers markets, hotels, & restaurants in the state of Texas. We search for the very best hard white winter wheat flour from farmers across the Great Plains. From mixing the ingredients to baking, our breads are handcrafted by artisans obsessed with quality. The rich and broad range of flavors and aromas you find in our bread is a result of true-to-art fermentation processes. The finished product is a crispy, carmelized crust with a moist crumb bursting with intense flavors & textures. One of the many places you can purchase our fresh bread is at the local farmers markets in the Dallas area as well as Sprouts Farmers Market in Dallas & Austin. Clint & Kim Cooper started the Village Baking Co. in March 2004. They opened up their little bakery on a dime & a dream. After seven years of painfully hard work, Clint is still doing his passion....baking bread while at the same time he and Kim are raising their four children who love to get their hands in some dough at the bakery as well as tear into a good hard crusty open crumb baguette at very early ages. They enjoy going to the local farmers markets as a family to support their love for farm to table food as well as to provide locals with the freshest baked bread and pastries in the area. We would love to personally meet you. Come see us at your local farmers market on Saturday!
I AM A PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED BAKER, A FATHER OF FOUR, AND MARRIED TO KIM. WE HAVE OWNED AND OPERATED THE VILLAGE BAKING CO. FOR THE PAST EIGHT YEARS. WE SELL ARTISAN BREADS AND PASTRIES TO THE LOCAL FARMERS MARKETS IN THE DFW AREA AS WELL AS AUSTIN. WE ENJOY COOKING AND EATING AS LOCAL AND FRESH AS POSSIBLE.
